22nd International Bebras Task Workshop – Cambridge, United Kingdom

Illumined Minds Pakistan was honored to participate in the 22nd International Bebras Task Workshop, held from 10–15 May 2026 at the prestigious Møller Institute in Cambridge, United Kingdom. This internationally recognized event brought together educators, researchers, academics, and computational thinking specialists from across the globe to collaborate on the development, evaluation, and refinement of Bebras challenge tasks for future international competitions.

The workshop served as an important platform for sharing ideas, best practices, and innovative approaches to computational thinking education. Participants worked collaboratively to design engaging and age-appropriate challenge tasks that encourage students to develop problem-solving abilities, logical reasoning, creativity, and analytical thinking skills. Through extensive discussions and peer reviews, experts from different countries contributed their perspectives to ensure that the tasks remain relevant, accessible, and educationally impactful for students worldwide.

Representing Pakistan, Dr. Marios Omer Choudary, CEO of Illumined Minds Pakistan, actively participated in the workshop and engaged with members of the global Bebras community. His involvement provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge with international experts, explore emerging trends in computational thinking education, and strengthen Pakistan’s connection with the worldwide Bebras network. The workshop also enabled meaningful discussions on innovative educational practices, digital literacy, and strategies for preparing students to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.

Participation in this prestigious international event reflects Illumined Minds Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to promoting computational thinking and high-quality educational opportunities for students across the country. The insights, experiences, and global collaborations gained during the workshop will contribute to further enhancing the implementation and impact of the International Bebras Challenge in Pakistan, helping inspire the next generation of critical thinkers, innovators, and problem-solvers.
